Getting Ready for Christmas
It's that time of year again: Christmas is creeping up on us!
There are lots of ways you can help us to help our beneficiaries this Christmas. We hope that you will feel inspired to try one of these festive fundraising ideas:
1. Join us at a Craft Fair
Some of our very talented supporters have been beavering away: creating, baking and making amazing present ideas to sell at the Monyhull Church Craft Fair to raise money for us. Why not start your festive season by joining us and tracking down some amazing handmade presents.
The Fair is open from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 30th November at Monyhull Church in Kings Norton.
We will also be selling our very own Christmas Cards (see below) and hopefully some of the decorations that our beneficiaries have made in our Craft Workshops.
There will also be activities for children and refreshments available.
We hope to see you there!
2. Send a Card
This year we have run our Christmas Card Competition again! We asked some of our younger supporters to design Christmas Cards for us. The proceeds from the sales of the cards fund a Christmas Dinner and presents for everyone we support. For some of them this will be the only way they get to celebrate Christmas this year.

3. Shop Online
Did you know that when you buy your Christmas shopping online you could be raising donations for us at no extra cost to you? Would one of these options work for you?
If you’re a regular Amazon user sign into Amazon Smile instead of the normal Amazon website and choose Just Caring Midlands as your charity of choice. Then you can shop as normal.
Easy Fundraising allows you to raise funds for JCM when buying goods and services from over 3000 online retailers. For more information Click Here.
Give as You Live is very similar to Easy Fundraising. If you sign up to their website and choose Just Caring as your charity of choice you can raise donations for us every time you make an online purchase by searching through their website/app.
4. Could you Pray for us?
Christmas is a dark and isolating time for many of the people we support. Although this isn’t directly fundraising, we believe that it is our Heavenly Father who provides for all of our needs (including finances) and is the one who enables us to be there for everyone we support. Could you pray for us, that he would be protecting and providing for all our beneficiaries? That throughout the loneliness they would know his love, that when they are at risk he would keep them safe and when they are down they would know hope in him.
