The Covid-19 Crisis is causing huge upheaval and change in the way we live our everyday lives. When something this big comes along it is normal for it to have an impact on our mental health. Many of us will be feeling increased anxiety and stress. Some of us may be struggling with depression or feelings of hopelessness.
We’ve put together some helpful links with advice and guidance that we hope will help you look after your mental health during these difficult times.
If you are concerned that you are developing a mental health problem you should get in touch with your GP and seek their advice.

NHS: Every Mind Matters

A list of ten simple steps to help you deal with anxiety about the coronavirus.

Mind have put together a detailed guide to help you look after your mental wellbeing while you are staying at home. There is also a section with helpful advice on employment and benefit concerns.

Mental Health Foundation

The Mental Health Foundation have a series of helpful articles on mental health issues during Covid-19. They cover topics including how to nurture our relationships, help for people who already have existing mental health conditions, panic buying and random acts of kindness.

Mind and Soul Foundation

Those of us who have a Christian faith are not immune to mental health problems. In fact, having a faith brings a new dimension to these challenges that is sometimes overlooked by secular help. The Mind and Soul Foundation have a series of articles and other resources that look at topical mental health issues from a Christian perspective.
