Thank you for supporting us by your prayers this week.  Today’s theme for prayer is Our Team.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” – Colossians 3 v 16 – 17

We have an amazing team of staff and volunteers who make our work possible.  We are thankful to the Lord for providing each one of them, and for the blessing that are to us and our beneficiaries.

We have had several changes to our staff team recently, with Phil Bell retiring (though still volunteering), Stephen Briggs joining us to manage our finances, and possibly another new member of staff starting in the autumn to help with fundraising.

• For all of our staff and volunteers, that they will each know a close walk with the Lord and that they will experience His blessing as they work with us.
• For the new core staff team; that they will be united in seeking to serve the needy and vulnerable.  Also that they will be protected from disunity and discouragement, particularly with so much change happening more widely at Just Caring.
• For the provision of more staff and volunteers as we look to grow our work in the future.  We also need to find a new Safeguarding Co-ordinator – please pray that the Lord will guide the right person to us.
