Week of Prayer: Tuesday
Thank you for joining us for our Week of Prayer. Today’s theme is our Group Activities.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! “ – Ecclesiastes 4 v 9-10
Our group activities continue to be a real encouragement to us. At the moment our programme is:
- Monday – Gardening Project all day
- Tuesday – Individual Support
- Wednesday – Online Drop In in the afternoon
- Thursday – Walking Group and Coffee & Board Games in the morning
- Friday – Gardening Project all day
We are really grateful for the hospitality of Shenley Court Hall who provide amazing lunches for our Gardening Project group, and also to Monyhull Church who have allowed us to join their Community Café after our Walking Group.
Please pray:
- Giving thanks for the positive group dynamic that has developed during these sessions. It is a real joy to us to see our beneficiaries growing in confidence in social settings, and not just with us but with the other people they meet at Shenley Court Hall and Monyhull Church.
- That God will protect this atmosphere of welcome and care: that nothing will happen to disrupt this or damage relationships.
- We currently have capacity to invite more beneficiaries to join us for some of our group activities – please pray for appropriate referrals who we might be able to help in this way.
